Egyptian Gold Mistress (Make-up look)

So recently i have been checking around about the history of make-up/Cosmetics..  And Firstly they mentioned Egypt. So i looked through photos of Cleopatra style of make-up. Really loved it so instead of doing Cleopatra  i did this sort of Egypt and gold feel... Its how i would imagined an Egyptian gold mistress to have on while sitting on that luxurious red silk fabric on a gold chair. lol (Sorry for the bad camera quality once again)

Enjoy! Pic tutorials & steps below.

  1. After priming or applying E/S base.. Make a crease a little higher than your crease line (Unless if you have a high crease already).. With a black shadow and extend it on both edge (As shown on picture)
  2. Pat a Shimmery gold Eye shadow all over your lid except the crease you made
  3. With a Blending brush pat it a little on a purple shade and blend the black to soften it.
  4. Use a black gel/Liquid liner and make a cat eye.. I did a semi straight line instead of going up.
  5. With the same black gel/Liquid liner ..line close to your waterline but not in your waterline exactly. And creating that long line near the inner corner to match the where the crease line has stopped.
  6. I applied a little purple on the bottom line to give that softer look using a small blending brush then Apply white eyeliner on your waterline and a volumizing mascara to finish off the eye make-up. You can add fake lashes to add the intensity as desired ;)
Lastly i used bronzer and highlights to contour my nose and cheeks. On my lips i had a matte pinky red lipstick and patted a white light pink shimmery shade on the bottom middle to create that pout look.

Spring Playful look or Flower fairy (Orchid Inspired)

I bought this in a local make-up store here in manila. The pigments are quite strong and very shimmery. It gives this dewy like effect. It's called 'Meis'.

Spring is here and its full of colors! You must have watched Tons/Few videos about spring make up looks, Well since you're here ..  This look is inspired by the colors of orchid flowers. Thanks to a friend who posted pictures of the beautiful flowers,You can check it out HERE!! . The look i did is a maybe a bit too-much for a day out.. but i'd say its pretty playful and fun to wear specially on spring time. Me wearing it .. Honestly i feel like i'm ready to go out and care nothing but enjoy and have fun. You can change and shift colors in any way you want with this look... Maybe minus something but whatever suits how you feel like.. go for it!

Hope you enjoy this look! Pic tutorials & steps below.

  1. After priming i used a shimmering light pink eye and lip pencil on all over my lid for a nice very light pink touch.
  2. Using the white shimmery shade i pat it on my lid except my crease.(The white looks satin with a hint of pink because of the first application of the pink shimmery pencil. Not obvious on the photo but it does look very pretty)
  3. With a blending brush use a Light gold shimmery shade and blend it on your crease.
  4. With the same blending brush use a light green shade on the outer corner top crease only and then take a Pink  shade and blend that on the outer corner. After all this I took a clean fluffy blending brush to smooth the top texture and make the color blend out of each other.
  5. Taking a Fuschia shade and creating dots like as shown on the picture. (It is optional .. where you place it around your eyes.) Then taking the fluffy brush again and lightly making a leaf /Petals like style smoothing out the fine lines a little.
  6. With a black gel/Liquid liner i made a straight long line (Instead of going upwards) Optional.
  7. Now with a purple shade taking your angled brush and Lining it close to the lash line and a peach like color to brighten my waterline.

Lastly i contoured ,Highlighted, applied blush and soft pink gloss on my lips. Everything is of your choice too. Have a great spring!

Pin-up Glamour look.

Jessica rabbit , Marilyn Monroe , Dita von teese , Veronica lake and more have such a sexy make-up!In my opinion.. A cat eye never gets old!  I mean never!! A pin-up look is sexy..  classy(Maybe not everyone thinks it is) and .. and   i ran out of words to describe this beautiful (One of my favorite looks).  My everyday look would definitely be a retro cat eye/ Pin-up. I just think it looks natural on me (I know it isn't the most natural make-up after all) but works on me quiet well. Looks great even working with different colors on the eyes.. Lips for sure also. I can rock it with a matte nude or light pink shimmery lips at day and Wine red or fuschia at night.
So this is my pull of the pin-up make up look .. Hope you like it! Steps and pic-tutorial included.  Enjoy!

  1. Apply E/S base and line the top above the lashes with a white liner.
  2. Create a crease a little higher than your crease line using a charcoal black shade (But if you have a deep eye set with a high crease you can just follow your crease line)
  3. You can use any color of your choice but here i used a white shimmery (Kind of silverish) shade all over my lid (Except the crease line that was created)
  4. Dab little with your blending brush in a light ash brown shade and blending that on the crease. Softening the black charcoal tone and using a shimmery champagne shade i highlight my tear duct.
  5. With a blackest gel or liquid liner make a cat eye thick enough and higher on the outer corner..
  6. Tight line the top with a black waterproof pencil and line our waterline with a white pencil. Then taking a thin brush (something like the brush used for applying gel liner) and dab it in a gray shade creating a lash like shadow effect. ( A very thin small line as shown on the picture)
  7. I use my drugstore lashes to make this look intense and better and then coat it with a volumizing  mascara. But if you don't like lashes.. Mascara are always good :)
Lastly i applied my bronzer to contour those chubby cheeks and a little blush to give it color. Then my red Avon lipstick (Favorite). You can choose what you like to wear on your lips and cheeks .. Creativity does not end.

olal-la! :P

Nobody's perfect.(J.j make-up inspired?)

'Inspired' Because i couldn't get the whole look exactly the way it is..  I don't know what shade she was using on her eyes so instead i just did what i thought it was on the picture.
Bare with me and hope you enjoy and like the look!
Pic tutorial and steps included.  End result of how i look below.

  1.  After applying E/S base.. Pat the silver shade all over your lid.
  2. Using a blending brush ..Pat it first on a black brown shade and blend it on your crease  Then pat it on a purple shade and blend it to create a gradient color effect. (Don't put excessive amount of e/s in your brush.. keep building it until the desired look)
  3. Highlight the inner corner and also your brow bone. (I used a vanilla white shimmery shade)
  4. Take a different brush and pat it on half the outer edge of your lid but not the middle making a fade effect. (Using a charcoal black shade )
  5. With a black gel or liquid liner make a cat eye.
  6. Using the same black gel/Liquid liner line the outer half lash line and wing it out a little.
  7. Line your water line with a black kohl liner and then taking that same gel, liquid liner ...On the middle making a small inverted triangle. You can take your time doing it.
  8. Fill the inverted triangle you made and then a strong volumizing black mascara to finish oh the eye. (You can use Lashes .. It will look much stronger and better)
Lips steps if you don't have a purple lipstick or gloss. (You can skip this if you have a good purple lipstick or if you would rather wear a different lip color)
  • Step 1 : Taking a liquidy gloss in a fuschia color and put an amount enough for your lips on your hand.
  • Step 2 : Grab any strong purple eyeshadow you own and scratch off a few amount using a thin spatula or any instrument you are comfortable with.
  • Step 3 : Using your lip blush mix it on your hand and if the color doesn't seem visible enough for you.. You can add more purple eyeshadow,
  • Step 4 : Before applying it ..Line your lip with a burgundy shade lip liner to enchance the look better. I choose gloss instead of lipstick because i like the way it looks on me. But if you want to use lipstick. Take your darkest red lipstick apply it all over and then pat your purple eyeshadow on your lips before using the gloss. That will give a much stronger purple look.

Hope you enjoy and also hope it helps!! (If not defo let me know.. Sooner i'm getting a better camera to video all the looks and will post them :) )

Let's get Glam! (Christina Aguilera Make-up look)

This woman's got a kick-ass voice... So does she have the looks.
I'm sure many of you xtina fans out there have watched a lot of christina inspired/Look make-up videos and must have tried at-least 5 of it.  She does have a lot of make-up looks out there.. From extreme to simple and pin-up look(I'm soo lovin that)
Now i have tried this make-up look of xtina and you can tell i am not quite good at it(NO i did not look like i got hit by a truck. Sorry to ruin the imagination lol) but if you don't like it... (xtina mode on) "You can kiss my ass b****"  lol ..

Anyways as usual i do a cut pic-tutorial about the eye make-up.
Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think! (Last picture shows how it looks on me..and i actually love it)
 Steps included below .

  1. I applied E/S base instead of a primer then used my white waterproof liner pencil all over my lid as a second base for preparation of the color.
  2. I used a light pink matte shade and pat it on my lip.
  3. Using a light charcoal black i line my crease a little above it. (Not attaching the corners)
  4. I pat my blending brush a little on a violet shade and blend it where i lined my crease.
  5. Highlight my brow bone with a white vanila shade and also line my waterline with a white pencil liner.
  6. at the top making a thin cat eye (Not extremely long.) and also lined the bottom lash line but this time extending it. Making it longer than the top. (As shown on picture)
  7. At the Long bottom line add another line but shorter. Simply attaching two lines at the start and separating it at the end.(Its like you are drawing)
  8. with a thin brush fill the gap .. The space in-between the black liner with the same shade used on your brow bone.

9 and 10 is not included but the rest is i used my baby pink lipstick and lipgloss. Instead of a blush i used bronzer (Since i have a chubby face) and highlighted my cheek bones.  VOILA! We're done and now its time to rock that wherever you want to wear this look.
